A HISTORY STARTING IN 1937
Estel is a historic furniture company of Italian design.
Founded in 1937 by Alfredo Stella and currently supported by the sons of Massimo and Matteo, he was developed and directed by his current President Alberto (see picture) for over 30 years with his brother Pierluigi.
By the end of the 70s, the reference sector was Home furniture in the domestic market. The best sellers were Guardaroba wardrobes with complementary articles, book shelves, tables and chairs at night.
In 1980 the Office Department was established: Executive Offices, Operational Offices, Seating and Partitions. Estel has been the leader in the Italian market of OFICE for more than a decade, maintaining the same position to date. Success has been achieved with a wide and complete product range with strong production, technological, information technology and organizational investments. The offer has always been characterized by flexibility and harmony, ie “Bespoke”.
Towards the end of the 70s, Estel began the process of internalization: the first market was Belgium in 1978, then France in 1979, the United States in 1982, the United Kingdom in 1984, followed by other markets such as Spain, Greece, Taiwan, Kuwait. , Saudi Arabia, Germany, Israel, Central and South America, Russia, Easters Europe, Honk Kong, Chile, Cyprus, Panama, North Africa, Miami, Palestine.
Thanks to its know-how in research and development, organizational, technical and logistic, Estel is ready to meet the new needs of all markets: CONTRACT and above all, PRIVATE.
With the advent of computers and the explosion of the Internet, the economy became global. Mass production has become the privilege of large distribution chains, where price is the most important problem. Big banks, insurance, automobile companies, many fashion brands, other brands in the food sector en are increasingly globalized and need to design and manage their images all over the world. Therefore, by including Architectural Firms, Facility Managers, Space Planners, Industrial and Marketing Sociologists, and therefore needing to know where they need to know, they decide to use less and less Traditional Series Products in favor of a customized work and design of their spaces and furniture. How and to the world of production, expertise, bespoke products, quality, more and more sophisticated products… all without compromising the commercial convenience and organizational risks of only tradesmen or non-manufacturers.
Responsible and ready for this new trend, Estel created a Special Section of the Habitat's Estel 5 Senses in the late 90s. Through Know-How Home and Office Estel has established itself in Hotels, Bank branches, Telecommunications stores and automobile dealers.
Between 2000 and 2007, Estel acquired Artisan Ateliers for luxury furniture, Frighetto, a top-class brand, and Deko, a brand that operates in public spaces, conference rooms and conference rooms. Estel's customers include: Una Hotel Rome, W Hotel-Vela Barcelona, Atlas Hotel Management Morocco, AccorHotels in the Hotelier world, the town of L'Aquila in the Social Housing, then Intesa SanPaolo, Bnl, BNP Paribas, Santander, Allianz, Telecom Italy, Fiat Automobili sıra as well as world-renowned prestigious customers.
