Double-sided fabric tapes can be subjected to particularly heavy loads thanks to their robust carrier system. The textile fabric tears only with difficulty, but adapts flexibly to its lower surface. Fabric adhesive tapes are ideal as cut rolls that are easy to handle, even in small widths. Common applications for double-sided designs are fixing aids (especially with hotmelt adhesives), flooring or repairs with low mechanical stress. Tissue adhesive tapes are usually available with different adhesives on both sides of the adhesive tape. Despite its lattice-like structure, the fabric carrier ensures good separation of adhesives. Cloth tapes, for example, may be strong or weakly adhesive and may be separated from one side again after use.
