Xylose;

Xylose is a naturally occurring wood sugar that is extracted from hardwoods such as birch. It is a special carbohydrate that is used to create aromas and to achieve the desired taste effects for meat, finished feed, pharmaceuticals, pet food and animal feed. Xylose requires a very short reaction time to achieve the desired taste. Key benefits: • Helps with the formation of taste • Improves the aroma • Improves the visual appearance • Little impact on blood sugar and serum insulin levels • Allows for a quick Maillard tanning reaction Areas of application: • Culinary • Meat • Poultry & Seafood • animal feed • Medicines Classified as a normal food and not a food additive.
