Railway scales, presented on the market today by the Weighing Equipment Plant, are subdivided into foundation and foundationless. The first option involves the use of a base made of reinforced concrete, while foundationless types are mounted on the prism of the railway track, after which they are additionally covered with rubble. In this case, no preparation is needed, a couple of days is enough to mount and put such railway scales into operation. Structurally, any wagon scales are distinguished by increased strength and are designed for rather intensive operation even in the most difficult conditions. Particularly noteworthy is the tensioning system used, with the help of which the probable displacement of the weighing platforms is prevented. This ensures increased accuracy of the readings and the absence of errors, even with prolonged use.
