Inexpensive and robust components made of ABS With fused deposition modeling (FDM), a thin plastic yarn (filament) is melted using a heated extruder nozzle and applied in layers. The components are characterized by good mechanical properties and a scratch resistant surface. The freely adjustable internal structures allow you to obtain very light parts with sufficient strength. The protrusions can be supported with support material. The largest possible flat floor area for optimum production with FDM helps ensure secure adhesion to the construction platform.
