Cement roof tiles, also known as concrete roof tiles, are one of the most popular roofing tiles competing with ceramic tiles. They are made of cement, sand with a high quartz content, water and a pigment that gives color. All materials are mixed, poured into suitable molds, profiled and dried at 60 °C. After the initial drying, the tiles are treated with a coat of acrylic or polymer-acrylic paint two or three times, which gives the final color and coating. Cement tile is colored in mass, meaning it has the same color as the central pavement even after being cut or pinched.
