Roofing felt and shingles are well-known roofing materials. Their common denominator is the asphalt mass and the matrix of cardboard, fiberglass or polyester non-woven fabric, which determines the mechanical strength of the pavement. However, both of these products have different uses in roof construction. Roofing felt can act as a waterproofing on foundations, flat or pitched roofs, it can also be used as a roofing, i.e. the first coating, for example, under the roof tiles, metal tiles or as a freestanding roofing.
