Foil tape, double sided;

Double-sided adhesive film tapes usually have carrier systems made of PP or PET film and are among the toughest adhesive tape types due to their tear resistance. However, especially thin PP films adapt flexibly to the substrate. Foil adhesive tapes can therefore be used universally and are also suitable as mounting tapes with the appropriate backing and pressure sensitive adhesive. The pressure sensitive adhesive coating is held securely together by the film backing which also enables further processing into very narrow cut rolls or cross wound coils. Similar to fabric adhesive tapes, double-sided film tapes can be fitted with two different adhesives. They have the additional advantage of a clear separation of pressure sensitive adhesives by the film and the inability to combine different bonding properties.
