Pellets are small pellets made from residual wood (alternatively also from peat or straw). They are pressed under high pressure into small bars of the same size, which saves a lot of space in storage compared to boxes. Generating heat with wood pellets is particularly environmentally friendly due to low CO2 emissions. They can be used in a variety of ways, for example to drive conventional radiators and for surface heating with low flow temperatures. They are then burned in pellet burners, the heart of the wood pellet heating system, and the heat is converted into energy.
