Measurement and Comparison: The measurements of the instrument to be calibrated are compared with those of the reference instrument. Adjustment: If there is a deviation in the readings, the instrument to be calibrated is adjusted to bring it in line with the reference readings. Verification: Tests are repeated to verify the accuracy of the calibration and confirm that the instrument is measuring correctly.
