A light design and excellent ground tracking was the main focus in the development of our ALPINHIT weed pickers. These two properties are important to guarantee effective operation, especially in alpine regions. With the ALPINHIT series, PÖTTINGER offers two collectors in this segment. Specially designed for alpine conditions, this machine is characterized by a lightweight construction: the tubular frame, spring steel fork arms and a light bearing provide the necessary strength while reducing weight. The ALPINHIT 4.4 H has a hard head. ALPINHIT 4.4 N with rotatable head guarantees excellent cornering. This collector follows exactly on the tracks of the tractor. Even on extremely steep slopes, the weed picker remains firmly in place. When raised, the machine returns to the central position. ALPINHIT 6.6 is a lightweight structure with six rotors. Equipped with a rotating head and stabilizer supports as standard. The PÖTTINGER has succeeded in developing a herb dryer with a DIN working width of 4.0 m and still weighing only 285 kg (ALPINHIT 4.4 H) or 330 kg (ALPINHIT 4.4 N). ALPINHIT 6.6 has a working width of 5.75 m and weighs 6.6 564 kg.
