Faccin has designed a range of solutions to meet the production needs of the shipbuilding and aerospace industries. RP Roller Press is a large bending roll designed to bend sheets larger than 20 meters. Special machines can effectively combine the production speed of a bending machine with the versatility of a press brake. The large-size RP bending rolls in the plant have a solid large-size structure, which ensures the very precise bending of high-strength sheets. The two rollers mounted vertically on the RP bending rollers guarantee the high tonnage of the machines, while the three bending rollers make it possible to bend the conical and asymmetrical parts typical of ship hull structures. The rollers of the machine have independent movement: in the “bending roller” configuration, the top roller moves vertically while the bottom two moves horizontally. In the “Press” configuration, the top roller is replaced with a tool and a mold is mounted on the bottom rollers. Faccin's RP series machines offer a finished product, as it is constantly under control of all axes during the tilt cycle. Superior quality minimizes the need for subsequent calibration. The roll anti-deflection system makes Faccin's large RP bending rolls versatile, allowing you to bend large and small radii without affecting maximum and scratchable thicknesses. The anti-deflection system of the installed rollers also guarantees the maximum tolerances of the finished product.
