Weihrauch/Olibanum;
Weihrauch, auch Gummi Olibanum genannt, ist ein aromatisches Naturharz, das von Bäumen der Gattung Boswellia, Familie Burseraceae, gewonnen wird. Oft wird ätherisches Öl durch Dampfdestillation des Harzes gewonnen und dann in den verschiedenen Anwendungen, vor allem in der Kosmetik- und Parfümindustrie, eingesetzt. Bei der Verwendung als Räucherware sollen die Dämpfe gegen Stress und Depressionen helfen.
