Our winery is located in Vezza d'Alba, in the heart of Roero, an area rich in winemaking traditions where excellent white and red wines have always been produced. The Casetta family has lived in this locality since 1725, handing over the farming work of vine cultivation and grape vinification for generations. For the pressing of white grapes we use pneumatic presses operating at low pressures, to gently crush the berries. For a perfect fermentation process we operate with temperature control using the cold technology system. Following an aging in steel tanks until bottling. The maturation of the "great reds" in wooden barrels takes place in the underground part of our cellar. Here the large barrels are filled and checked periodically. The passage in wood plays a primary role for the right aging of our wines. The choice of wood is essential. Our barrels are strictly produced with oak wood. The barriques are used only in part.
