Already mentioned in 1478, in the forms Renexij or Ornesio, the Arneis is classified among the most precious and rare white wines of Italy. The word Arneis in the local dialectic also indicates an outgoing individual, a little rebellious and likeable. Production area: hills of medium altitude (200-300 m asl) with south-west exposure. The land of ancient marine origin is characterized by the Rocche, steep slopes of a friable type, sandy with an ocher color. Vinification: The grape harvest is done by hand between the first and second week of September. After the soft pressing of the grapes, the must separated from the skins is left to ferment at a low temperature after refrigeration and static decanting of the must. Aging: Aging in steel and cold stabilization before bottling. Tasting notes: Straw yellow color. Intense and elegant bouquet reminiscent of flowers and fresh fruit. Pleasant in the mouth with sensations of freshness. Long finish rich in aromas.
